UC Values

This section highlights our organisational development work with past and current workplace partners, particularly in changing workplace culture. Our approach identifies the collective values that work teams share, and we work collaboratively with teams and managers over time to carry out meaningful culture change in alignment with those values. Each case study is unique, and as scientist-practitioners we work to the existing strengths of the workplace partner. We have worked with a service unit to streamline their communication processes and guidelines to align with the shared value of respect at work.

As with any culture change, good change leadership is required. Jennifer is working on developing a toolkit for change leadership relevant to the Aotearoa New Zealand context. She is looking to collaborate with managers who have experienced an organisational change, or are preparing for an upcoming change, to give insight on how aspects of the toolkit can be useful.
