Aotearoa New Zealand's healthcare sector has to meet future needs of growing and ageing population. This project seek to develop a Realtime Enhanced Decision-making (RED) Framework which will assist with adoptiong new technologies in healthcare. This framework will collect real-time data on user perceptions of new technology, and recommend actions to overcome barriers to technology adoption. Our novel framework incorporates the latest evidence on human behavior and decision-making, and on social and cultural dynamics. Currently we are investigating health practitioners' views on technology adoption and how their work is affected by new healthcare technology.
